In March 2014 Martin Foradori Hofstätter took the opportunity to revive the traditional winery “Weingut Dr. Fischer”, known for its excellent Riesling wines.
The small estate owns vineyards in one of the most famous wine-growing areas in Germany: the famous vineyards “Bockstein” and “Saarburger Kupp”, both certified as Erste Lage (premier cru) are located on the Saar River, tributary of the Moselle.

Martin Foradori Hofstätter’s intuition and love of Riesling inspired him to become the first Italian vintner to dedicate himself to this grape variety exactly where it thrives best.
In 2017 Martin Foradori Hofstätter released the new product line “Selection Dr. Fischer Steinbock” vinified from grapes grown in selected Mosel region vineyards.
